Insulin receptors are maintained as tetramer of a2b2 that each two of a-subunit having insulin binding site and b-subunit having tyrosine kinase activity are binding by disulfied bonds. When the insuin moleculurs combined with a-subunit,the stimulate induse autophospholilation and activate kinase activity of b-subunit after transmiting to tyrosine kinase domain of b-subunit.Activited tyrosine kinase induse phospholilation of tyrosine residue of some proteins having SH2domain in cytoprasm.
